Adina I was hesitant at first to use this journal that my sister got for me, as I am a big fan of fountain pens and pen and ink. I wrote tiny lines on the back page to experiment, and the ink did not feather or bleed through. I wrote an entire entry with a fountain pen, which surprised me due to the texture of the paper. I am very impressed! I just wish there was an option to get a refill.
