The wood wasn't chiseled smoothly and there were some rough cuts to form the shape , it looked more like a middle school woodshop project than anyrhjng. I ordered three of the hearts, and one of them had a cut through the shape at the top middle like the saw slipped and they thought "meh - it's good enough." The wood is also very light in weight - ot doesn't feel substantial.

These are very cute, but appear to be a little flimsy… It would be best on a dresser for ring or jewelry
